Argo advises Strada Partners and AXI on the envisaged sale of a majority stake in AXI to IceLake

Argo advised Strada Partners and AXI on the envisaged sale of a majority stake in AXI to the Dutch investment firm IceLake (subject to merger clearance), with Strada remaining on board as a significant minority shareholder.

Founded in Belgium, AXI has grown into a leading IT services group serving approximately 10,000 customers across Belgium and the Netherlands. Since Strada’s investment in 2022, the group has completed an extensive buy-and-build programme, combining organic growth with a series of strategic acquisitions.

The contemplated transaction marks the next phase in AXI’s development. With IceLake as new majority shareholder and Strada remaining invested alongside management, AXI aims to further accelerate its growth ambitions and strengthen its position as a leading IT services platform in Europe.
