Argo advises Altum Capital on the set-up of its first fund
Argo advised Altum Capital on the structuring and set-up of its first private equity fund, which has raised €32 million across its first two closings and targets a total fund size of €35 million.
Altum Capital invests in profitable small and medium sized companies in Belgium and the Benelux that have a strong position in their market. As an active shareholder, the fund supports these companies in strengthening their organisation, pursuing further digitalisation and completing strategic acquisitions.
Since its launch in January 2026, Altum Capital has invested €8 million in four companies: MatrixDecor, Epacco, Tenex and Seido. The fund ultimately aims to build a portfolio of six platform companies.
At its latest closing, PMV joined Altum Capital as the fund’s first institutional investor.
Argo advised Altum Capital throughout the fund formation process and advised on the legal & tax structuring, documentation and closings of the fund.
