Argo advises LawVu on the acquisition of ClauseBase

Argo advised LawVu, the New Zealand-based legal workspace, on its acquisition of ClauseBase, a Belgian legaltech company specialising in intelligent contract drafting and automation.

Founded in Leuven in 2019, ClauseBase built a strong reputation for delivering fast, consistent and AI-assisted drafting tools for legal professionals. The acquisition marks LawVu’s entry into the Belgian tech ecosystem and strengthens its mission to embed AI across the full legal workflow.

ClauseBase will become LawVu Draft, combining AI-native drafting with end-to-end legal workflows.
