Christophe Verhelst

Christophe is a counsel in Argo’s banking & finance department.

Christophe advises private equity funds, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on leveraged acquisition finance, syndicated loans, secured financing, and refinancing transactions. He specialises in supporting private equity firms throughout their investment lifecycle, particularly in structuring complex acquisition financing for leveraged buyouts, growth capital investments and buy-and-build strategies.

He also has significant experience in debt restructuring and insolvency matters, advising clients on both in-court and out-of-court solutions.

Prior to joining Argo in 2019, Christophe worked in the banking & finance department of another Belgian law firm.
